Start with a real detail, not a big campaign
Instead of ‘What should I post today?’, ask ‘What do my customers ask about or notice?’. Show how something is made, a detail you are proud of or how someone can make a choice. One photo you own can make that topic clear.
The texts below are illustrative examples we have written. They are not customer testimonials and do not claim actual business results. Adapt them to your own space, product or service. Keep only qualities, contact details and commitments that are true for your business.
Three ideas, with your own photos and voice
Each example separates the photo idea, the short headline on the image and the accompanying post caption. You do not need to put everything on the graphic: the image attracts attention while the caption provides the details.
Café · a familiar moment
- Photo idea
- A cup of coffee on your own table, in natural light. Leave just one distinctive detail in the background.
- Short image headline
- „Five quiet minutes.”
- Sample post caption
- Sometimes that is all you need for a good start. Here is a favourite corner of our café, with a little calm to go with your coffee. When will you take a break today?
Show the atmosphere; add opening hours only after checking they are current.
Product · a small, useful detail
- Photo idea
- A close-up of your own product. Highlight a material, shape or detail that helps explain how it is used.
- Short image headline
- „The difference is in the details.”
- Sample post caption
- This detail deserves a closer look. We chose the shape to make it comfortable to use. Which colour would you choose?
Replace the comfort claim with a quality you can actually substantiate for your own product.
Service · an answer to a common question
- Photo idea
- A recognisable tool or detail from your own workflow, without personal customer information.
- Short image headline
- „This is where working together begins.”
- Sample post caption
- In our first conversation, we find out what you need and the result you are looking for. That makes it easier to choose the next step. What would you ask first?
If your process starts differently, describe its real first step in specific, clear words.
Turn the example into your own post
Choose an example and rewrite its headline to fit your photo. Open ShowLane’s photo editor, bring your image and adjust the text, colours and crop. Put longer explanations in the separate post caption.
Before exporting, check any claims left from the example. Place the downloaded PNG and your finished caption on your chosen social platform yourself. You can read the public examples and guides without signing in.
